Electron Dynamics aids research into rapid detection of pathogenic bacteria

Austrian Institute of Technology, Wien, Austria – The research team were developing a novel micro-fluidic device for the fast detection of human pathogens. This is crucial for early therapeutic intervention, which is important for a successful treatment of infectious disease. With their developed continuous-flow polymerase chain reaction (PCR) micro-system, processing times of 30 minutes and throughputs of up to 80 samples per hour were possible, which significantly reduces standard diagnostic times of 3 hours or longer.

Under Development - TC M Slave

This is a output slave unit for use with our series of TC M series of Temperature Controllers. This provides a flexible means to provide additional output drive as required. The unit has 2 channels which can provide upto 10A at 28v, these also can be separated and can be powered from different voltages so could power different sets of TECs’ .
Can slave upto 10 units to provide a total of 215A drive.
